Coffee-Rubbed Oven Brisket (Rich, Smoky & Tender)

Ingredients
- 1–1.5 kg beef brisket
- 2 tbsp ground coffee
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 250 ml beef stock
- Salt & black pepper
Instructions
- Prep the brisket – Pat dry and rub with olive oil.
- Make the rub – Combine coffee, sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Season – Coat brisket generously with the rub and drizzle Worcestershire sauce over the top.
- Bake low & slow – Place in roasting dish, pour in beef stock, cover tightly with foil, and bake at 150°C for 3–4 hours.
- Finish – Uncover for the last 30 minutes to form a dark crust. Rest for 15 minutes before slicing.
