  • Small bowl (for garlic butter)

Ingredients

  • 2 Angus beef sirloin or ribeye steaks (about 250–300g each)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)

  • Heat the pan – Place skillet on high heat until very hot. Add olive oil.
  • Sear the steaks – Place Angus steaks in the pan and sear 2–3 minutes per side for medium-rare (adjust time for doneness). Use tongs to flip once.
  • Make garlic butter – In a small bowl, mix softened butter, garlic, and parsley.
  • Finish in pan – Add garlic butter to the skillet in the last minute of cooking. Spoon the melted butter over the steaks as they finish searing.
