Honey-Garlic Glazed Lamb Ribs

Sticky, tender, and full of flavour — these honey-garlic lamb ribs are a guaranteed crowd-pleaser with minimal effort.

Equipment

  • Baking tray
  • Aluminum foil
  • Mixing bowl
  • Sharp knife
  • Oven

Ingredients

  • 1-1.5 kg lamb ribs
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp honey
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce (or Worcestershire for a local twist)
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika (optional)
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 160 °C (320 °F).
  • Prepare ribs: Place ribs on a baking tray lined with foil. Rub with olive oil, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  • Slow roast: Cover with foil and bake for 2 hours until tender.
  • Make glaze: In a bowl, mix honey, garlic, and soy sauce.
  • Glaze & finish: Remove foil, brush glaze over ribs, and return to oven at 200 °C (390 °F) for 15–20 minutes until sticky and caramelised.
  • Serve: Slice between bones and enjoy with a fresh salad or roasted potatoes.
